Yuma November 2010

Here we are in Yuma enjoying sunny days while our families are enduring extremely cold temperatures. -30C in Calgary and Stettler and -16C in Nelson.

Our present 16C is cool for Yuma but we are not shovelling the white stuff.

Yesterday I dug in 3 orleander shrubs , the beginning of a hedge to block out the neighbour and add beauty to our site here in Country Roads RV resort.

Check back in 3 years to see how it grew!!!!!!!!!

SNOWED IN IN LOGAN, UTAH

Wow and we thought we were on our way to sunny Mexico! Here we are in Logan Utah , snowed in, well sort of. Arrived here yesterday in a blinding snowstorm, which did not let up until AFTER we tried to set up the Lady Slipper Rig. Super meal with Eden , Isla and Roscoe then an early return to the RV park.
I just finished reading Julie's blog which makes our inconveniences a poor reason to complain!

This is to make sure I can get in again and it appears that I did!

Today I experienced an enlightening thought as I was correcting a banking slip up!

I thought a few years ago , I lost what I thought were the Three people who were always going to be there for me ( to look out for me) . In just over 2 years my brother, mother and Frank were gone. I remeber Frank saying to me "I will always be there for you".

Well his is ! When I see that pension at the end of each month.
Thank you Frank, you are looking after me.

Vegas , October 2008

Today was a super one in the city that never sleeps.



Sam pulled off a whopper ( for him) four 3's and an ace!

That sent us back to our room with smiles on our faces.

Off to see ' Dennis Miller' comedien at the Orleans where we are staying this trip through Vegas.

Off to Yuma tomorrow , about a 6 hour drive!

On the Road Again 2008

Here we are in Vegas for a couple nights. This stop we planto see'Dennis Miller' at the Orleans where we are staying. Much warmer here than in Logan utah where we spent 3 days with Edenand Robin and of course theirlook a like children ,Isla Belle and Roscoe!

More later when I havemore time to compose and entry about Beijing ect.
